Student’s will be expected to abide by theses norms: “The 5 P’s” 1. Prompt - Be on time and in seat;
2. Prepared - Bring all necessary materials.;
3. Polite - Be respectful, kind, have manners, foul language is not tolerated; 4. Participate - Be actively engaged in lessons, ask and answer questions by raising your hand;
5. Professional - Behave appropriately, do your best job, and follow dress code. **Note: Student code of conduct and School rules are to be followed at all times**

Tardiness Students have 3 minutes to transition between classes. They are expected to be in class and ready to learn when the bell rings.
Grading Policy All grades will be averaged. The following items will count for grades: class work, labs, tests/quizzes, science notebook check, and homework. Eleven points will be deducted on each day an assignment is late. If there is a special circumstance or an extension is needed on any assignment, a parent or guardian must contact me.
Lab Safety During labs, All safety and hazard guidelines MUST be followed. Failure to do so will result in low grade and/or not being able to participate in a lab. All lab groups are expected to clean up their areas.
Required Materials Agendas are to be brought to class every day so students and parents may keep track of assignments and behavior. Needed daily- glue stick, small pencil sharpener, colored pencils or crayons, hi-liter, and most importantly curiosity.
Science Notebooks Interactive Notebook to be used for class and brought daily. There will be a notebook checks periodically. Stay organized and be proud of your work!
